Dear Student,
Welcome to HE ED2, a general health education course. Health education is a general education, transferable class. One of the main tasks of this class, is to help you gain skills that will help you to live a healthy life. More important than the "facts" that you learn in this class, are the skills for finding health-related information, analyzing it for its utility and accuracy, and applying it to your own personal situation. In other words, you will learn how to find, assess and use important health-related information when YOU need it.
This Web site contains lecture notes and corresponding multimedia slides, Cyber-assignment pages, a multimedia web-reference page and a general health/wellness reference page. It also contains practice quizzes to help you study for the exams. There are also other class resources and student helps that will make your progress in this class easier and more efficient.
