- National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information:
This page contains research and statistics on alcohol
and drug-related topics. Resources with frequent use of graphics, charts and
tables, make this a visually appealing site.
- National Families in Action - Drug Information:
This site contains concise information on several drugs.
For each drug there is general information on the drug, effects, street names,
and current legal status.
- National Institute on Drug Abuse:
NIDA supports over 85% of the worlds research on
drug abuse and addiction. NIDA-supported science addresses the most fundamental
and essential questions about drug abuse, including tracking emerging drug
use trends, understanding how drugs work in the brain, and developing and
testing new drug treatment and prevention approaches.
