The 33rd Central Coast
March 11-12th, 2016
Hello and Welcome!
The Central Coast Jazz Festival (CCJF) is a competitive jazz festival hosted by Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo for Middle School, High School and College/University Big Bands and Combos. Last year we had great bands with an excellent judging panel and Donny McCaslin was wonderful. As things are shaping up for this years festival it promises to be a great experience for everyone involved.
The festival date has been set for March 11th and 12th. All of the performances on Friday March 11th will have a judging pannel and receive clinics, but will not have published scores.
We are proud to have Wayne Bergeron as our festival guest artist. He will perform Friday night of the festival with the Cuesta Jazz groups.. And on Saturday he will give a free clinic and also perform on their own.
On this site you will find information about this year's festival and guest artist, an application and closer to the festival a schedule of bands. After the festival it will be possible to check back and see each band's scores.
