The 29th Central Coast
Jazz Festival
Febrary 25th, 2012

Hello and Welcome!
Congratulations to all the bands that played and for everyone's hard work! It was a great success. We look forward to having everyone back next year.
We are trying to find tune the date for the festival next year and we are choosing between February 9th (very early), February 23rd (same as SCSBOA) and March 9th. Let me know if you have any insite.
The Central Coast Jazz Festival (CCJF) is a competitive jazz festival hosted by Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo for Middle School, High School and College/University Big Bands and Combos. Last year we had great bands with an excellent judging panel and Bob Sheppard did a fantastic job as our guest artist. As things are shaping up for this years festival it promises to be a great experience for everyone involved.
This year we are proud to announce that Bob McChesney, one of the world's greatest trombone player, will be our guest artist. And we will have the same famously high quality in our judging pannel.
On this site you will find information about this year's festival and guest artist, an application and closer to the festival a schedule of bands. After the festival it will be possible to check back and see each band's scores.
