TRANSFER DAY AND COLLEGE NIGHT ON OCTOBER 9
Current and potential Cuesta students will get all the help they need on
college planning thanks to “Transfer Day” and “College Night” – two
events hosted by the Cuesta College Counseling Department.
“Transfer Day” will be held for Cuesta College students from 10:30 a.m.
to 1 p.m., on Monday, October 9 in Cuesta College’s San Luis Obispo
Campus Student Center. That evening, "College Night" is scheduled for
local area high school students and parents from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the
Cuesta College gymnasium.
Approximately 60 representatives from the UC, CSU, independent and
out-of-state universities will be on hand to answer questions and
distribute information about their colleges and universities. Colleges
attending include UC Berkeley, UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, Cal Poly
San Luis Obispo,
CSU Monterey Bay and many more. In addition, local community colleges,
vocational schools, and branches of the military will attend.
The events are sponsored by Cuesta College and San Luis Obispo County
