JONATHAN KREISBERG TRIO TO PERFORM ON SEPTEMBER 28
Guitarist and Composer Jonathan Kreisberg focus’ on cutting edge
acoustic jazz that is full of influences including his life experiences.
Kreisberg was born in New York City, but he began playing the guitar at
age 10 after his family moved to Miami.
Kreisberg also teaches lessons and workshops at the New School, City
College, Philadelphia College of the Arts, Mannes School of Music and
many other universities worldwide. He has recorded five cd’s under his
own name including JONATHAN KREISBERG TRIO (1996), TRIOING (2001), NINE
STORIES WIDE (2004) and NEW FOR NOW (2005).
Currently promoting his music worldwide with successful tours in Spain,
Finland, Portugal, and Japan, Kreisberg is based in New York City, and
when in town, he can be found at his steady Wednesday trio gig at La
Lanterna and many of NYC's other great jazz venues.
