CUESTA COLLEGE NORTH COUNTY CAMPUS
SELECTS AMBASSADOR’S CHOICE ART AWARD

Artwork created by Paso Robles resident Kittie McDougal was selected as the Ambassador’s Choice for fall semester 2005 on the North County Campus. As the winner, McDougal received a cash award and her artwork will be framed and permanently displayed on the Cuesta College North County Campus.  Runner-up Tammi Butler also received a cash award.

The North County Ambassadors created the Ambassador’s Award as a response to student comments that the Cuesta College North County Campus needed something to break up the white walls in the classrooms and offices. The Ambassadors are community volunteers and friends of Cuesta College. One piece of artwork is selected for permanent display on the North County Campus each semester. McDougal’s creation will be the sixth piece of artwork selected. All are currently displayed in the lobby of the new Allied Health, Math and Science Building.

In addition, art related class offerings on the Cuesta College North County Campus for Spring 2006 semester include Art Appreciation, Survey of Art History, Fundamentals of 2-D design, Beginning Drawing and Intermediate Drawing.

For more information on the Ambassador’s Choice Art Award or art-related class offerings, contact the North County Campus at 591-6220.
