Our very Stephan Gunsaulus has received statewide recognition for something we all have known – his photos capture the essence of campus life at Cuesta. Gunsaulus was the winner of the Charles Cropsy Photography Award from the Community College Public Relations Organization (CCPRO). His entry was the cover of the summer 2002 class schedule – a track and field shot featuring a young man passing a baton.
Public Information and Marketing garnered other awards from CCPRO, including second place for the 2002/2004 Catalog, second place for the 40th Anniversary Calendar and third place for Radio PSA or Ad.
A CCPRO Award represents the highest mark of achievement for marketing, public relations and graphic design in California's community colleges. Awards are presented in more than 20 categories, including class schedules, writing, photography, newsletters, advertising, and broadcast promotions. Winners are announced at the annual CCPRO conference.
