Cuesta College Awarded $250,000 Grant by California Community Chancellor's Office

   

Cuesta College was awarded a $250,000 grant by the California Community College Chancellor’s Office as part of Part of Senate Bill 70 – providing $20 million to the California Community Colleges, beginning January 1, 2006. Senate Bill 70 provides funding for programs that will strengthen Career and Technical Education, grow program capacity and infrastructure and improve the link between secondary schools and selected economic and workforce development programs in community colleges.

This grant will fund the Career Technical Educational program in Automotive Technologies; a program Cuesta College runs, in conjunction with The Santa Lucia Regional Occupational Program
