Cuesta Water Polo Has Another Great Year

Your head coach is named Coach of the Year and one of your players is named Player of the Year in the Western State Conference (WSC). These honors follow a conference title win – the 21st conference title in the 27-year history of the program.

That’s the kind of year the Cuesta Men’s Water Polo team has had. Head Coach John Marsh (top photo) was given the WSC Coach of the Year honor following a 24-9 season with the Cougars. Two-meter star Jeff Chaney (bottom photo) was named the WSC Player of the Year. The Cougars immediately advanced to the second round of the Southern California Regional Playoffs following the conference title.
