Last month's City to the Sea Half Marathon was a rousing success! The 8th annual event, which is the major fundraiser for Cuesta's Track & Field and Cross-Country programs, went off with the start of Gil Stork firing the gun in downtown San Luis Obispo.

A record number of 850 runners took off under foggy skies (perfect running weather!) and were greeted in Avila Beach with sunshine and a beautiful morning, as they ate breakfast overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Race Directors Bob Mariucci and Jani Johnson are especially appreciative to the 150 plus volunteers that helped make this race a grand success. Hope to see some of you at the starting line next year!
