Free international festivities and fun come to the Cuesta College San Luis Campus early in December with Nikolausfeier.

The holiday gathering for adults and children of all ages is scheduled Friday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the San Luis Obispo Campus Cafeteria. The event, now in its seventeenth year, is a traditional German celebration of Sankt Nikolaus (Saint Nicholas) Day. It is open to the public.

The evening includes a sing-along of German Christmas carols and holiday traditions in other countries of the world. Sankt Nikolaus, fluent in German and English, presents gifts to the children and lends an ear for Christmas requests. Guests are asked to bring a holiday treat to share. Beverages will be provided.
