Project Theatre – the nonprofit foundation raising funds for a performing arts center on the North County campus – is having its second annual Halloween production. Titled “Local Lores and Legends,” the 90-minute show is on Saturday, October 23 at 7 p.m. and will once again take place at the Carriage House at the Pioneer Museum in Paso Robles. Project Theatre promises improved seating (up to 150 spots), lighting and sound over last year’s show. Seven based-on-truth stories will be told, including “Scary Tales at Boy Scouts Camp,” “Hearst Castle’s Lady in the Master Bedroom” and “The Curse of James Dean’s Spyder (Porsche).” The narrator will be local actor George Klein, who has also appeared in films and television. Tickets are $10 per person and $8 for children under 12 years old. They can be purchased at the Chelsea Bookstore and Cafe in Paso Robles, and are also available at the door. For more information, call Joyce Herman at 239-3122. |
