PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

Welcome to the new academic year! May our students focus on achieving their goals and may we who work here help them and one another have a great year of learning together.

What’s happened since we graduated the class of 2006?
• We taught 3,220 students in summer session, including the new Licensed Vocational Nursing program at North County Campus and teaching high school summer school classes for the Lucia Mar District.
• The Hiring Committees hired 12 new full-time and 126 part-time faculty, 6 new supervisors or managers, and 34 new classified staff. (In 2005-2006 the phenomenal Human Resources staff and committees processed 943 employee applications plus 1,126 student hourly applications.) How’s that for getting a lot done?!
