Hughes Publishes

Gary Hughes, part-time instructor in the Geology Department recently completed a paper for the scientific journal, Journal of Electronic Imaging, entitled “Algorithms for Sensor Chip Alignment to Blind Datums.”

As colleague Jeff Grover explains, “This is no small thing for someone working full-time as an engineer and teaching two evening classes.” The paper will appear in the journal within the next 6 months. The Journal of Electronic Imaging (JEI) covers research and applications in all areas of electronic imaging science and technology. The journal began publication in 1992 and is published quarterly.
