Bea Anderson Honored as Outstanding Classified Employee

Bea Anderson, the Division Assistant in Cuesta’s Performing Arts Department, was chosen as the 2006 Outstanding Classified Employee of the Year. The Performing Arts program is home the music and drama department as well as several performing ensembles, and according to several nominators, Anderson “is the backbone of our department.”

Anderson, who joined Cuesta College in 1989, shows her dedication and willingness to help out on a daily basis. Whether it’s staying late to sell tickets at a concert or make arrangements for a music festival, Anderson goes beyond what can be expected. One nominator noted that “No matter how busy she is at the moment, she always has time to deal with your problem or question.”

All full-time classified staff with four or more years of service and part-time staff with eight or more years of service with the District are eligible for nomination.
