| A former member of the Cuesta College Board of Trustees has been named the 33rd California Assembly District Woman of the Year.
Paso Robles resident Dee Lacey is perhaps best known at Cuesta for spearheading the opening of the North County Campus facility. For those efforts, she has previously earned the honor of Cuesta College Woman of Distinction, and has also been recognized as Paso Robles Citizen of the Year. Lacey has served as president of both the San Luis Obispo County Cattlewomen’s Association and the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce.
Lacey has been on the boards of the Paso Robles library and recreation foundations, as well as the San Luis Obispo County Community Foundation and the Paso Robles Children’s Museum. In the business community, Lacey has also served on the board of directors for both the Twin Cities Community Hospital and the Heritage Oaks Bank.
“Dee is a dynamo,” says 33rd District Assemblyman Sam Blakeslee. “She is a true leader who knows how to get things done. There is no one in this community who is more deserving of our appreciation and recognition. I’m proud to name her 33rd Assembly District Woman of the Year.” |
