PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

The last six weeks have been filled with such outstanding work and significant accomplishments by so many of us that I devote this column to “singing praises” so we can share in these accomplishments, send congratulations, and join in saying “thank-you!” The May issue of CC News will sing more praises for other accomplishments.

  • “Expanding Your Horizons” was a total success for the 7th and 8th grade girls who spent March 19th with us in exciting workshops that let them explore what they can do in science, engineering, and math. Julie Hoffman provided leadership and math colleagues, Anna Davies and Kathy Jimison, Foundation ambassador, June Stephens, and many others who helped young women get excited about the opportunities available to them in the subjects of math and science. continued…
