 Classical music on a Friday evening ñ itís an ideal situation for local music lovers looking for something to do. The Cuesta College String Ensemble will perform at 7 p.m., Friday, May 7 in the Performing Arts Rehearsal Hall, Room 7160, at the Cuesta College San Luis Obispo Campus.

The five-piece ensemble will perform a variety of classical music, including the works of Michael Haydn, J.B. Vanhal, Klengel and others. The group is headed by Cuesta College Music Instructor Amanda Whiting.
