Maryanne joined the staff at Cuesta College in 1999. She began her work as Supervisor of Purchasing, then Supervisor of Support Services, and is now the Director of General Services. Maryanne has been a regular participant in the Wellness step class since she arrived on campus. She loves all types of fitness activities, and supplements her step training with regular trips to the gym. Maryanne's longtime love of music and dance is motivating her to venture into a weekend hobby of teaching fitness to seniors throughout the community. She also is working on her bachelor's degree (minors in business and psychology), and just completed the final touches on her 'dream home' (and happily, the moving is also complete!)

Maryanne has traveled a long and sometimes, rocky road, to get to this wonderful stage in her life. As a single mom of Jeanette, 19, the two have worked hard to overcome many obstacles in their lives and have obtained many successes as a family team. Maryanne is very proud to be in an incredible state of health and wellbeing; she inspires others to take charge of their lives and make positive changes in their lifestyle.

For being selected as wellness employee of the month, Maryanne will receive a $25 gift certificate to Copeland's Sports. Keep up the great work, Maryanne..... we are so blessed to have you as part of our great wellness program!
