Bob Mariucci's brother came to town, and the Athletics Department raised nearly $35,000 to show for it. Steve Mariucci, the head coach of the Detroit Lions and the former coach of the San Francisco 49ers, was the keynote speaker at a fundraising dinner and auction held by the Cuesta Athletic Boosters on March 26 at the Paso Robles Inn.

The proceeds from the event will go towards a new restroom facility near the soccer and softball fields, an upgrade for the dugout facilities at the softball and baseball fields, bleachers at the new track facility and the development of a fitness facility in the Athletic Fieldhouse.
