David Diaz's Book "The White Tortilla" Picked up by Kendall-Hunt Publishers

Cuesta Physical Education instructor Dave Diaz will have his book, “The White Tortilla,” republished by Kendall-Hunt Publishers.

Kendall-Hunt has redesigned the cover and the formatting of the book and will publish and represent the book to the Higher Education market.

“The White Tortilla,” which chronicles David’s life growing up in Oxnard, California as a second-generation Mexican-American, has been adopted for use in many college and high school classes including: Sociology, English literature, multicultural health, Chicano literature and ethnic studies.

The new version of the book will be available in fall 2006.
