Student Art Show Starts April 7th

Are you uninspired by the same old art you see around the Central Coast? Get ready for something new! The Cuesta College Art Gallery’s 39th annual student show is full of fresh and innovative sculpture, photograph, painting, ceramics, prints and drawings.

Join the Art Gallery on Friday, April 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A thousand dollars of award money will be divided among prize winning entries selected by this year’s juror, Daniel Dove, Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Cal Poly. Cuesta’s Music Department will provide live entertainment and refreshments will be served.

The Cuesta College Student show runs from April 7th through May 9th in the Cuesta College Art Gallery. Gallery hours are 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The student show is sponsored by The Promotional Coordinating Committee of the City of San Luis Obispo, Helen Novy Art Fund and the Associated Students of Cuesta College.
