Eberle Winery will hold its annual barbecue for the Cuesta College Broadcast Communications Department. The fundraiser is scheduled Saturday, April 16 at Eberle Winery, supporting the Broadcast Communications Department and its efforts to modernize its current studio and build a state-of-the art television production facility at the college’s San Luis Obispo campus.

For years, Cuesta College has been recognized as having one of the finest radio and television production facilities in the community college system. To date, several former students have enjoyed successful careers in the industry. A multi-year, three-phase, multi-million dollar upgrade is now the focus of the Broadcast Communications Department, and through generous donations and community fundraisers, Department Head Bob Hartwig is confident they’ll reach their goal.

Tri-tip sandwiches will be for sale from noon to 4 p.m. during the fundraising event. Proceeds from the barbecue, as well as ten percent of the weekend sales in the Eberle Winery Tasting Room, will be donated to Cuesta College. Eberle Winery is located at 3810 Highway 46 East in Paso Robles, 3.5 miles east of Highway 101. Tasting room hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
