PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

What’s the status of enrollment for this semester?

  • Highest headcount in history—10,977 students as of census.
  • Below 2% growth target by 500 FTES.
  • If all late start classes enroll fully, all positive attendance classes have students attending daily, and the late start Atascadero State Hospital Psych Tech students enroll, we project another 400-500 FTES.  “A close finish predicted!”
  • Slight drop in the percentage of full-time students and a 4.4% increase in part-time students.
  • 52% increase in Distance Ed enrollment, thanks to several new offerings.
  • Thank-you to the Counseling, Admissions & Records, and Financial Aid faculty and staff, all teaching faculty, division assistants, EOPS, DSPS, division chairs, deans, vice presidents and everyone else who personally helped students enroll, add a class, find a class, and feel welcomed. continued…
