VOLUME 5, ISSUE 6  January 2004

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
Isn’t it good to have everyone back and to welcome our students for spring semester? We begin the semester with 9,506 students enrolled, studying throughout the district—7,752 at SLO, 2,003 at NCC, 476 at SCC, and 725 taking Distance Ed. Students may continue to register for the first two weeks of the semester. Let’s welcome them warmly. They are our reason for working at Cuesta College.
Since we gathered at the holiday party and everyone turned in grades, we have learned who intends to retire between now and the end of 2004. Twenty classified staff, faculty, managers, and executives will retire this calendar year. You will hear about these many wonderful colleagues as the semester goes on—continued…
