Sue Gin came to Cuesta College in 1989. She attended West Valley College as a track athlete and then went on to Cabrillo community college. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Fresno State University in Physical Education. She then went on to receive her Master of Science degree from the University of Arizona in Physical Education with an emphasis in athletic training. After completion of her graduate work, Sue went back to Fresno State as an athletic trainer where she also taught curriculum courses in athletic training.

Sue’s teaching experience includes Introduction to Athletic Training, Advanced Athletic Training, Modalities, Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries, Health Education, Introduction to Physical Education, Tennis and Weight Training. She has taught at Fresno State, Cal Poly State University, Reedley College, Fresno City College and Cuesta College.
Sue is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, California Athletic Trainers Association and the CCATA.

Sue lives in San Luis Obispo with her husband Dick and their three children, son Cody and daughters Kacie and Malia.
