Philip Valle
Introduction to Theatre, Directing for the Camera, Acting for the Camera, Fundamentals of Acting
Philip Valle is a playwright, director, and performer. He holds a B.A. degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison and, additionally, an M.F.A. degree in Theatre from Arizona State University with an emphasis in Contemporary Performance Theory, Theatre for Young Audiences, and Education. He also attended U.C. Berkeley where his first play, The Stall, was selected to represent the university at the California Experimental Theatre Festival.
Mr. Valle’s original works have since been produced both nationally and internationally. In 2002, he received the Arizona State University’s Dean’s Award for Research and Creativity for his multimedia production of Lincoln’s Sassy Nation.
Mr. Valle was formally head of Drama at Northland College, Wisconsin. He taught acting at Arizona State University and is currently a lecturer at California Polytechnic State University where he teaches Introduction to Theatre, Playwriting, and Introduction to Acting.
