Mary Sue Gee, soprano, operates an active studio in Los Osos and also teaches private voice for Cuesta College. She was educated in her home state of Kentucky, where she received her Bachelor of Music Education, her Master of Arts in Health, Physical Education and Recreation, and her Master of Music in Vocal Performance degrees. After teaching public school music, she married and moved to the central coast of California where she has remained for the past 26 years. Mary Sue is well known for her portrayals of the Mozart heroines, Pamina, Constanza, Foirdiligi, and Donna Anna with Pacific Repertory Opera along with many appearances in the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, the Carmel Bach Festival, the Roger Wagner Chorale, and the Cuesta Master Chorale. An active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, she has served as President of the Central Coast Chapter, as well as Governor of the Southern California Association for the organization.
