                     RN Program                

Applications for admission to the RN Program in  Fall 2015 will be accepted OCTOBER 1 - 31, 2014.  The application will be posted here when available.

INTERESTED APPLICANTS SHOULD

FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

1. Read the RN Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and RN Information Powerpoint pages.

2. Review the RN Multi-Criteria Point Allocation table (effective for Fall 2015 admission).

3. Attend a Pre-RN Group Advising SessionYou will leave this session with a personalized Student Education Plan (SEP) to guide you on what prerequisites you need to take and when.  Click here for dates and information:

4. Attend an  RN Information Session  (scheduled once every fall and spring semester) for a more detailed understanding of the requirements and expectations of the Cuesta College RN program.  The next session is scheduled for:

September 11, 2014

5.  Call the Counseling Department at 805-546-3138 to make an appointment to have any remaining questions answered and have any coursework completed at other schools evaluated for equivalency.

OTHER IMPORTANT  INFORMATION:

NEW TEAS V REQUIREMENT:  Applicants for Fall 2015 admission will be required to take the TEAS V Assessment Test between October 1, 2014 and December 6, 2014.  The TEAS V may be taken at any location, but must be taken during the testing window with all scores submitted by December 6.  The TEAS V  will be offered  to all eligible applicants by assigned dates at Cuesta College.  For more information read the TEAS V FAQ  (includes specific information for October 2014 applicants, including Cuesta test dates).

                             LVN Program              

The next application period for the LVN Program will be in January 2015, for admission in August 2015.  Check back here for more information as this date get closer.  Click here for general LVN Program information and requirements.

An Information Session for interested applicants will be held on October 23, 2014 from 4:30 6:30 in room 2407 on the Paso Robles campus.

Information Sessions for our RN, LVN and LVN to RN programs are offered every fall and spring semester.  These sessions are intended to give an overview of the program requirements,

pre-requisite coursework and the application process.
