   Pre-Nursing Priority Registration

Priority registration for pre-RN majors for Fall 2016  is being offered now through April 15th.  To find out if you are eligible, call Counseling at 546-3138 (SLO) and 591-6200 (NC).

    Nursing Information Sessions     

Nursing Information Sessions are offered once every spring and fall semester and cover program requirements, pre-requisite coursework and the application process. 

  • AP LVN to RN Information Session
    March 7, 2016 - 6:00pm-8:00pm
    Room 2402, San Luis Obispo campus
    NOTE: Attendance at this session, or a previous session held on 3/12/15 or 10/19/15 is MANDATORY in order to be eligible to apply in June 2016 (January 2017 admission).

Informational meetings will be held at the Department of State Hospitals, Atascadero - Main Lobby located at 10333 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 10:00am to12:00pm
  • Monday, April 11, 2016, 6:00pm to 8:00pm

                   RN Program                   

RN program applications are accepted once a year in October for admission the following fall.

Steps for Interested Applicants:

1. READ the RN Program FAQ and the TEAS FAQ 

2. REVIEW the RN Application Point Criteria

3. ATTEND the RN Program Information Session March 17, 2016 from 6-8pm, Room 2402 (SLO campus)

4. REVIEW the RN Program Application Instructions The application period is currently closed. These instructions show the application requirements for fall 2016 admission. Future application requirements subject to change

5. GO TO the new RN Program Admission webpage and read additional information there.

6CALL the Counseling Department at 805-546-3138 (San Luis Obispo Campus) or 805-591-6241 (North County Campus) for questions about pre-requisites, course planning, priority registration and/or to have coursework completed at other schools evaluated for equivalency.
