Posted 30 October 2009 Please review the Mandatory face-to-face meetings dates/times carefully, and make sure you have not registered for another class that meets at the same time/day OR you have scheduled other commitments that would prevent you from attending the first MANDATORY face-to-face session. During the second face-to-face session a group midterm involving diversity activities is scheduled. It is not possible to reschedule this group project/exam. The third session students will have the option of taking exams as a group or individually. No scantrons are necessary. |

2009 I am willing to add a few students to the class, so if you are wanting to add the course, read and follow the step-by-step procedures on HE 208 Home Page at http://www.cuesta.edu/disted It is expected that students interested in adding the class will take the initiative to complete the Online Orientation and the Definitions Assignment due the first week of the semester. If you request to add the course after the course begins on Tuesday, 19 January at 0800 a.m., you should be aware that you may have a limited time to complete assignments that are due the first, second, and third week of the semester and/or adding the class after the start of the term may result in missed assignments (points). The last day to add classes for spring 2010 is 30 January 2010. Feel free to contact me by email during the winter break before the start of the spring semester if you wish to add the course. There are extra credit assignments students may elect to complete to offset missed weekly homework assignments. To get an add code, contact me by email before the last day to add classes, Saturday, 30 January 2010. Send an email to mbasti@cuesta.edu Use Subject Box: 208 3036_ ( Your Last Name)', request for add code. Note: I will adhere to the college's first day priority list policies for adding students to the course. Students will not be added to the class after the first Mandatory face-to-face meeting. |

2009 If you decide not to participate in this distance hybrid course this term, it is expected that you officially withdraw from the course so that you do not receive an 'F' on your transcripts. This can be completed electronically without the instructor's signature. I would appreciate it if you would simply send me an email to let me know you are dropping the class, this will allow other students to add the class. |
