Schedule a Test Date

Prospective Cuesta College students must complete a Cuesta College application prior to scheduling an assessment test.

Cuesta College Admission Information is available...

• by calling Cuesta College’s Registration Hotline, (805) 546-3126
• in every Cuesta College Class Schedule

Once you have submitted your Cuesta College application, you can then move forward with scheduling a test date.

Schedule an English and/or Math Placement Exams

For the SLO campus, click on Tests Offered page in the left column. Choose the test you want and information for choosing a date, time and attending a session can be found there. See Calendar for scheduled English and Math assessments and for the Ability to Benefit test.

For the North County Campus, sign ups are required for English. Contact Student Services at (805)591-6210 or room 3039. No Sign ups needed for Math. See Calendar for scheduled English and Math assessments and for the Ability to Benefit test.

Schedule a CLEP Exam, an American Constitution Exam or for Distance Learning Proctoring Services

Cuesta no longer admininsters the TOEFL Exam. http://www.ets.org/toefl

Schedule All Other Tests

To schedule any other type of exam, please call the Assessment Department office at (805) 546-3951.  Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. June and July hours: Monday - Thursday 9 am - 5 pm.

If no one is available to take your call, leave a message and an Assessment staff person will contact you as soon as possible. PLEASE SPEAK SLOWLY AND CLEARLY WHEN LEAVING ANY MESSAGE.
