Welcome to Assessment Services

(Note: If you are trying to reach the Cuesta College Course Prerequissies & Corequisites page, it has recently been moved and is now http://academic.cuesta.edu/matric/prereqs/. Please update your bookmarks or links)

The purpose of assessment is to provide students with information regarding their current skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Assessment results give students information that will help them choose classes that fit their individual abilities - allowing them to enroll in classes in which they can be successful.

In addition to administering Math and English placement tests for incoming Cuesta College students, the test center is dedicated to serving the community by providing proctoring for other exams, including: the HOBET, Math Proficiency Test, Ability to Benefit Test, American Constitution Test, CLEP, and TOEFL. Prospective Cuesta College students must complete a Cuesta College application prior to scheduling an assessment test.

For Prerequisite information, see the Prerequisites page.
