Important Prerequisite InformationMathematics courses at Cuesta College numbered Math 127 or above have mandatory prerequisites. These prerequisites are mandatory conditions for enrollment in the course, and are printed in the Course Catalog (they are also listed at this web site under Course Descriptions). A student will NOT be permitted to register for one of these mathematics courses until all necessary prerequisites have been verified. New or transferring students should bring a copy of their transcripts with them to registration in case there is any question regarding their prerequisites. Even if transcripts have been forwarded to the Cuesta Admissions Office, it is possible that they have not yet been received or processed. Students are strongly advised NOT to rely on forwarded transcripts, but should contact the Counseling Department directly to clear any prerequisites PRIOR to registration. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAD YOUR TRANSCRIPTS SENT TO CUESTA COLLEGE DOES NOT MEAN THAT ALL PREREQUISITES HAVE BEEN CLEARED! Students wanting to ADD a mathematics course numbered Math 127 or above during late registration MUST have a signed Verification of Course Work Form (obtained from the Admissions and Records office or the Counseling Walk-in table, see below) confirming that they have met the prerequisite for the course. Bring this completed form with you to class along with your Add slip.
