Cultural Center

What is the Cultural Center?

The Cultural Center is a resource for Cuesta students to learn about and contribute to the diverse cultural heritage on our campus. The center is located in rooms 5104A and 5104B on the far end of the cafeteria. The center consists of an office and computer lab, as well as a quiet sitting room for students and staff to eat, read, and study.

We offer resources from our book/DVD lending library, a small computer lab and other literature. The center also hosts an array of events throughout the year, check out our event calendar for current activities planned.

Mission Statement

The Cuesta College Cultural Center (CCCC) embraces and celebrates the diverse cultural heritage that all Cuesta College students, faculty, and staff bring to the community.

Thought Spot

Come check out the “Thought Spot” located in the corridor between the Cultural Center’s two rooms (at the end of the cafeteria). Each week we post a question reflecting current local, state, national and global issues that evoke a thoughtful response from our student body.

Stop by to write your comment or opinion and see what your fellow peers have to say. Some recent posts included student reactions to Cuesta’s accreditation status and also to the government surveillance of Facebook. Come check it out, it is an easy way to get involved!

CULTURAL CENTER LENDING LIBRARY

Come discover our diverse collection of books and DVDs available for checkout during our office hours.

Donations of books, DVD’s and artwork are greatly appreciated!
