I was raised in New York and received my bachelor's degree from State University of New York College at Cortland and my master's degree from the University of Massachusetts. I moved to San Luis Obispo in 1979 with my husband Ken and my two daughters, Stephanie and Erika. Ken is an administrator at Cal Poly and also teaches history part-time at Cuesta. Stephanie is an attorney and Erika works in school administration. I have been a Mathematics instructor at Cuesta College since 1979 and am currently the Division Chair for the Mathematics Division. In my leisure time I enjoy traveling, crafts, walking, and playing golf.
