Providing a vehicle for interaction between community members and college divisions/departments is the primary purpose of the Ambassador Program. Volunteers serve as ambassadors to particular departments of interest to them. In this capacity, they partner with faculty to assist students and expand opportunities. The volunteer leadership within the Cuesta College Foundation is one of the College’s most valuable resources.
The Student Ambassador Program gives qualified students the opportunity to participate in various Foundation events, public outreach engagements, and leadership activities at Cuesta College and receive scholarship stipends in exchange for their service. The Student Ambassador Program is partially funded by a generous grant from PG&E. |
