Flex Contracts Flex Contracts are available for filling out online beginning the third week of the semester. An e-mail notification and memo are sent as a reminder. Faculty have two weeks to fill out their flex contract. Faculty Must Fill Out Their Flex Contract During This Time.
Flex contracts can be accessed through IRIS which is now available through myCuesta at: http://my.cuesta.edu/. IRIS is the same system where you access your class rosters. After accessing IRIS, choose the "My Flex Contract" link on the left. Note: Individual Flex Project proposals are filled out online and added to your flex contract. These proposals are approved online by your Dean/Director along with the rest of your FLEX contract. Tip: Online flex contracts work best in either Netscape or Microsoft I. E. 6.0 and above. Important: Once you have completed filling out your flex contract click on ìSave Updatesî before closing your browser. After clicking on ìSave Updatesî you can simply close your browser or go to another web page. The information you entered is saved to a database. Tip: At any time during the two-week period you have to fill out your contract you can log in and modify (make changes to) your flex contract. At the end of the semester (part time faculty) or end of the year (full time faculty) you will be able to go in and modify your flex contract to accurately reflect what you have done during the contract period. This can be done by adding activities you attended or removing those you did not attend. If you are unable to access your flex contract through IRIS, or if you have any questions concerning your flex contract or flex activities, please contact your Division Chair or Division Assistant.
