Education: B.A. Liberal Studies, University of California Riverside; M. Ed., University of California Riverside; K-12 Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, University of California Riverside; TESL Certificate, University of California Santa Barbara

Cuesta Courses: She joined Cuesta in 2007 and has taught ESL levels 1 and 2 and Intermediate Conversation ESL 25.

Experience: Elena has taught English language development, science, and social studies at the middle school level in Lompoc, California. She also taught 3rd grade in Riverside, California and physical education and kindergarten in Santa Maria, California. She spent two years teaching ESL at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria as well.

Hobbies/Interests: traveling, yoga, running with her Jack Russell terrier, and cooking
