English as a Second Language (ESL)

The English as a Second Language (ESL) program offers all levels of language instruction. Classes focus on conversation, reading, writing, and grammar. ESL classes are offered in the afternoon and at night. Most classes meet two times per week.

The classes are 18 weeks in length. They are held August through December and mid-January through May. Some classes are offered for six weeks in the summer. ESL Courses are offered at the San Luis Obispo Campus, North County Campus and the South County center.
