Qualifications and Eligibility
How do I qualify for the program?
According to chapter 2.5,
Division 7, Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations,
students must meet the following criteria:

Demonstrate
high financial need

Have
a need for academic support

Have
completed less than 70 units of college work

Qualify
as a California resident according to admissions policy

Qualify
for the Board of Governor's Grant (BOGW-A/BOGW- B) through
the Financial Aid Office

Enroll
as a full-time student at Cuesta
-
Be
educationally disadvantaged based on the following
factors:
- Not qualified for enrollment into a minimum level
English or mathematics course that is applicable to the
associate degree
- Or not a high school graduate or holder of equivalency
to High School Diploma
- Or graduated from high school with a grade point average
below 2.00 on a 4.00 scale
- And First generation college student
