ENGLISH DIVISION
Division Office: 3453
(805) 546-3176
The English Division offers a
variety of composition, literature, and critical thinking courses to
meet the needs of students. Students may take either
individual courses or enroll in the Associate of Arts degree program
in English.
The primary focus of each of the literature
courses we offer at Cuesta College is to provide students with a
survey of some of the greatest masterpieces of literature within the
confines of a given genre, period, or thematic focus. All of
our 3-unit literature courses meet the Area C requirements for
transfer to a CSU and the Area 3 requirements for transfer to a UC.
