Summary of Course

This course is designed to provide the student who may be likely "first responders" with an improved capability to respond to Haz Mat events in a safe and competent manner, within the typical resource and capability limits at the "Operational" level. The three Saturdays of the course covers the recommended 24 hours "FRO" objectives and qualify the student for certification by the California Specialized Training Institute (CSTI).

  • The Media and Hazardous Materials Legal Aspects

  • Putting It All Together

     

    Other Information

    The EMT - 3 course involves classroom/field exercises, and requires a pre-paid $5.00 certificate fee payable at the Cuesta College cashier's office.
