Rapuano, Mary Anne - The central coast of California provides endless inspiration for Mary Anne's colorful paintings. Teaching in Connecticut, California and Europe led her to Cambria, a village where many artists, writers, musicians and others have chosen to settle. No matter how you may feel, you are ready to try for that perfect composition once again." Mary Anne works primarily in watercolors and other water media. Although she has a small studio in her home she does quite a bit of plein air painting. She starts by planning a painting with small sketches, then uses watercolor crayons to lay the design out on watercolor paper (Waterford 200 or 300 lb).
