Cuesta Emeritus Students:
You’re probably aware of the extraordinary budget crisis
that Cuesta College is experiencing requiring the College to
focus its resources to provide college transfer, career and
technical and basic skills course programs.
Therefore, regrettably our Emeritus program, which has been
offered for free to the older adult population, will be
suspended until such time that the College is in a position
to again fund this program.
Our
plan, in response to this economic crisis, is to move as
many of the Emeritus classes as possible to fee-based
courses provided through Community Education.
Because we know these changes will affect many, we are
creating a scholarship program and have identified an
account with the Cuesta College Foundation Department and
are now accepting donations. For more information on our
scholarship programs call 546-3121.
Your
understanding and continued support of Cuesta Community
Programs and Cuesta College will help get us through these
tough times and allow us to maintain as many of our valued
classes as possible.
