Welcome to Music Appreciation Through Distance Education.  Please make certain your information including you email address is current on your registration information form.

You will need to buy the text from the bookstore.  The text is Music Appreciation Online Student Guide and comes with the accompanying 3 CD set by David and Donald Megill.

There are no mandatory personal meetings for this course.  Here is the link to the information page you will use to create an account and sign into your classes.

This will take you to the How to Get to Your Online Music Class, which will take you to the Coast Learning window.  Select your class and college (If you have difficulty logging in, email me and I'll try and help.)  Once logged in, check your “Messages” for any recent emails.  All our communication will be via course email. Unless absolutely necessary, DO NOT use my office email address to communicate with me.   After checking for messages, go to Lectures and read the information contained therein. This will explain the course, serial number registration, technology required, grading policy, and other information you will need to know.  Feel free to browse around the class - get use to it, read the syllabus so you understand the requirements of the course.  I will not open any of the assignments until the first day of the semester.   Remember, don’t allow yourself to fall behind; it's easy to do  I’m here to help.  Please don’t be afraid to contact me with questions or problems.  Good Luck.
