KATCHY ANDREWS
Generalist counselor,
Reentry Program Coordinator
Katchy (yes,
it's a "katchy" name) joined the Counseling Department at Cuesta College
in January 1991 as a paraprofessional advisor and part-time counselor.
She was hired as a full-time counselor in July 1996.
As the coordinator of the Reentry Program, Katchy implements activities and provides information to Reentry
students to assist them in their transition to college. She is also the chair of the Reentry Program Committee,
made up of staff and faculty members dedicated to helping these students. Katchy also teaches Career Exploration,
Counseling 254 each spring semester.
When not at Cuesta, Katchy enjoys playing tennis, water sports and traveling.
