GINA REYES-VRIEND
Nursing and Allied Health
Gina began her employment with the Cuesta College Counseling Department in 2000. She has had eight years of academic
counseling experience with Allan Hancock College, and two years of educational experience with the University of
New Mexico, Taos branch. Gina also has a strong background in Social Services.
Currently Gina is assigned to the pre-Registered Nursing (RN) program providing academic planning and evaluations
for all pre-RN students, as well as, advising for Cuesta's other Allied Health programs. This includes transfer
preparation for bachelor degree health-related majors.
From time to time Gina will enroll in an academic class at Cuesta for fun. Her favorite hobbies include reading
literature, bike riding along the beach, and going to a matinee movie or concert with her husband. Gina loves warm
weather.
