ANDREA DEVITT
EOPS Counselor
Andrea was born in San Luis Obispo County and attended San Luis Obispo High School.
After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in 1990, Andrea received
her Masters of Arts Degree in Education from Cal State Dominguez Hills
in 1993and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from Azusa Pacific University
in 1994.
She worked as a high school teacher in the Los Angeles area for the next four years,
first at Santa Fe High School and then at Leuzinger High School. In 1994
she accepted a position as a high school guidance counselor at El Segundo
High School. She moved back to San Luis Obispo County in 1997 to take
a job as a counselor at Templeton High School, and finally landed here
at Cuesta College in December, 1998.
