STUDENT EDUCATIONAL PLAN (SEP)
An SEP is a planning tool that you and your counselor create based on your future academic and career goals.
Although useful to all students, the following groups may be required to complete an SEP:
Athletes
Cal Works
DSPS
EOPS
Pre-nursing
Reentry
VATEA
Veterans
All students receiving financial aid must submit either an Orientation Verification or a Student Education Plan
(SEP). To determine which document will be needed, visit the financial aid office or
Agricultural Technology Program.
To obtain an SEP:
- Send your official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities you have previously attended to Cuesta
College Admissions and Records Office.
- Verify with the Admissions and Records Office that Cuesta College has received ALL your official transcript(s).
- Make an appointment with a Counselor. Contact the Counseling Office at the San Luis Obispo Campus, (805)
546-3138, or Student Services at the North County Campus, (805) 591-6241, to make an appointment to complete
your SEP.
- Submit a copy of your SEP to your relevant program.
