The following resources are available in the Transfer/Career Counseling Center:

Eureka:
A computerized information system of occupational and educational information. Eureka is available by appointment
or by walk-in, on a space available basis (call 546-3162).
Career Classes:
Counseling 254, "Career Exploration," (one credit hour of CSU transfer credit) is offered each semester over a nine-week period. Counselors teach
classes in a self-discovery format. The purpose of the class is to assess students' interests, skills, personality,
and values. Additionally, students conduct personalized career research to further the career planning process.

Counseling 261, "Career Skills and Job Shadowing," (one credit hour of CSU transfer credit) is offered once per year. It
introduces career readiness concepts through exploration of personal work attitudes and skills, job search

Career Connections provides a centralized location where students can identify and receive information about the
many work-based and employment programs available through Cuesta College. These include job placement, internship
opportunities, volunteer opportunities, work-study positions, job shadows, and cooperative work-study.
